Kauai Hawaii is also known as the Garden Isle, is the fourth largest of the main islands of Hawaii. Legend says that is named after Hawai'iloa's favorite son. Geologically is the oldest of the Islands of Hawaii and is the site of the Waimea Canyon State Park, a popular natural attraction. It lies 15 miles across the Kauai Channel, northwest of Oahu. The population of the island is nearly around 65,689.
