Hawaiian Airlines, Flights to Hawaii


Hawaiian airlines is a U.S major airline. Like any other major airlines, Hawaiian revenue is over $1 billion during  fiscal year.  It's principal hub is at Honolulu International airport (where most of the Hawaii flights originate from), and is the largest airline based in Hawaii and the 11th in a national level.  By applying values like integrity, accountability and passion, their vision of being the best destination carrier serving Hawaii has come true. Before it became a major airline with billions in revenue a year, Hawaiian airlines had a long history of ups and downs. The airline began flying the Hawaiian air in October 6, 1929. Called Inter-island airways Back then, this company  started as a subordinate of Inter Island Navigation Company with a  aircraft Bellanca CH-300 Pacemaker that could accommodate 6 passengers. For it first flight the airline provide sightseeing flight over the island of O'ahu. Within a month later ( November 11, 1929 ) a scheduled service began form Honolulu to Hilo stopping in Molokai and Maui. In 1941 Inter-island airways changed it's name to Hawaii Airlines. In 1966 the Airline acquires a Douglas DC-9, this  marks the starting point in the Jets era for this company. The introduction of Jets reduced flying times 50%.  In 1984 charter services  to the south pacific were first offered and the airline acquired  a Lockheed L-1011  for it's  for West Coast service fleet. In 1994 L-1011s aircrafts were replaced by the McDonnell Douglas DC-10. This aircrafts were obtain from American Airlines (around this time they also agree to convert to the SABRE reservations system and join the  Aadvantage frequent flyer). During the  modernization of their fleet (in 2002) the airline change the Douglas DC-10 for with 14 Boeings 767. On 2003 Hawaiian  filed for  bankruptcy protection and it doesn't emerge until 2005. The same year Hawaiian Airlines began offering daily nonstop Honolulu - San Jose flights  . On 2006 Hawaiian Airlines expanded their service between the continental U.S. and Hawaii and in  2010, Hawaiian Airlines announced  nonstop flights from its hub at  to Honolulu to Tokyo-Haneda. By 2010, The Hawaiian Air announced they would begin nonstop service to Seoul-Incheon, South Korea. On 2011, Hawaiian announced that it will add Osaka to it's routes. In the present, many international flights to Hawaii and from the islands are full with excited tourist that want to experience this tropical paradise. 

To encourage  their frequent customers hawaiian created the hawaiian miles (the hawaiian airlines' frequent-flyer program)   Miles accumulated in the program can later be exchange for tickets, hotel, upgrades in flight class. Regarding the  food, Hawaiian flights comes with a complimentary and paid beverage service on all of its flights.
